To expedite the scheduling process, please bring to registration a transcript from your previous school. The High School will not be able to make a student schedule until the academic history is received. Thank you.
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION 2013-14
Students entering Mayfield City Schools Kindergarten for the
2013-14 school year must be 5 years of age by August 31, 2013.
Bring Kindergarten Registration paperwork to the Mayfield Board of Education, 1101 SOM Center Rd., Mayfield Hts from 8:00am - 3:30pm Monday-Friday.

A completed Kindergarten Registration Packet (located at the right of this page)

Required documents (i.e. Birth Certificate, 2 proofs of residency, Custody papers, Immunizations records...) - we will make copies of all documents and will return originals.

EARLY ENTRANCE KINDERGARTEN TESTING
Research on "school readiness" points out that developmental factors, such as cognitive skills, physical development, social development, and a variety of other areas are examined when considering Early Entrance to Kindergarten.
If your child does not turn 5 years old by August 31, 2013 but before December 31, 2013 and you feel the child is socially, emotionally, academically, and physically ready to attend Kindergarten you may request Early Entrance Testing.
Any parent/guardian requesting Early Entrance to Kindergarten must send a written request to the Mayfield City School District's Pupil Services Department, 1101 SOM Center Rd., Mayfield Hts., OH 44124 by April 15, 2013.
Your written request should include: Child's name and birthdate, Parent's name, Address, Phone number, and Reason you are requesting Early Entrance.
Once the written request has been received, a referral packet will be sent with further instructions.
